Finally done! 3.5 minutes of hilarity starring my adored friends Cameron Esposito and her real-life girlfriend Zee Hartmann, and my boyfriend Bryan Bowden. Video, music, and editing by me.
Sure, the Bride of Frankenstein was literally made for him, but what if her heart belonged to someone else? Like a sexy lady vampire? Lucky for her he's a pretty understanding, progressive guy.
This is going to be shown at the Lincoln Lodge tomorrow night right before Cameron does a stand-up set. I've never had one of my videos screened in front of a live audience so I'm pretty nervous.

Baby Taste DELICIOUS, Says Frankenstein
...he was also quoted as saying "ARGH! AUGH! ARRGH!"
So, yeah, with the monster video, we had to shoot the video at my friends' nanny job (with the parents' permission, of course -- they are also improvisers), and somehow the baby was not freaked out in the least. In fact, he thought having extra people there was a blast, and he especially liked Bryan. ADORABLE.

Cameron Esposito Turns Bryan Bowden Into Frankenstein
Girls 4 Obama
We've all seen the cute pix of Obama with babies, and lots of Obama with little boys, and here's a batch of photos of little girl Obama fans with priceless looks of excitement and hope on their faces as they meet, hug, and high five the man himself. I'm not embarrassed to admit these made me all squishy inside. I am "borrowing" some images for this post, but check out even more beautiful photos on the Shakesville blog.

Charles Meets Barack
An eightysomething man whose wife passed away began volunteering for Obama and won a chance to meet the man himself. I dare you to watch this sweet, sincere man speak about hope and "young people" and not break into tears. Made my morning.
My Pix From Chicago Underground Comedy October 28, 2008
Featuring Zombie Dan Telfer (my much-appreciated co-producer), Ken Barnard, Prescott Tolk, Mike and Duane, and Adam Burke. All pix by me, full set here.
Tonight's show was awesome. Dan's zombie thing was fecking great (pardon my Irish) and I can't wait to edit the highlight reel! Not that it'll happen anytime soon. I have a full day of writing work AND a comedy video sketch to shoot tomorrow. Now, sleep...

My Pix From Impress These Apes 3.0, Show #6 - TV Commercials
Pix by me, full set here. Last night's Impress These Apes featured tv commercials made by each of the contestants. Some were dirty, all were hilarious - two featured stock footage of lions having sex, which was an unexpected treat. Contestants' videos can be seen here.

A Bright and Beautiful October Day in Chicago
I put up this short post and a 60 second video of bright and beautiful Gethsemane Gardens in Chicago today on the Chicago Metblog. (As always, music and editing by me.) Oh yes, it's getting chillier, but Chicago is still a beautiful place!
