Lately my cell phone service provider has been seriously screwing up my life by providing less than optimum service, including dropped calls, inability to make calls for up to a half hour at a time, non-receipt of text messages, non-delivery of text messages, voicemails that arrive up to two days after they were left, and other crap that's seriously peeving me.
However, sometimes text-based misunderstandings are entirely due to my lack of scrupulously attentive text messaging. A sample of recent amusing typos I have sent to puzzled friends:
"Feeding (so-and-so)'s bats. Be there in 15."
"At the (hip, sexy bar/club). Having a blart."
"See you at 70:00."
