Blogging on the CTA

This is a test post. As if I weren't latched to the digital teat enough throughout the day, now I'm set up to blog from my phone from anywhere. (If only I'd gotten the BlackBerry with a camera!)

You didn't happen to be on the Lawrence bus today, were you? If not, I saw your doppelganger totally texting away (or possibly blogging?) on her phone...

Whoa! That was totally me, blocking out the outside world, absorbed in my remote blogging activities. How rude of me not to notice a real-life friend sitting right there! Forgive me, Geli!

That's really weird. You were totally in the zone. Cause I brushed right by you and sat across from you. (I had just gotten off of work and was riding from Broadway to Wolcott on the Lawrence bus) I was pretty sure it was you, but it was one of those moments that I didn't want to seem weird & creepy, if I did tap you--while you were so involved on your phone-- and it didn't turn out to be you after all.

How embarrassing, yeah, that was totally me. In my defense, I am terribly nearsighted and never wear my glasses, and am shy and don't make a lot of eye contact when I'm alone in a public place. Oh, yeah, and I just learned how to phone blog, and I'm a dork. Next time I see you I'm totally buying you a beer to make up for totally not noticing you.
