How To Be a Chicago Hipster Asshole

If you see either of these people on the CTA, feel free to tell them their smug "we trashed your apartment and moved out without telling you or leaving you any money" video is on YouTube now, so the whole world knows they're assholes.

A Chicago guy who does improv (related thread here on the Chicago Improv Network board) came home after house-sitting for a week to find his two hipster asshole roommates (Taylor and Whoevergirl) had broken and/or strewn his personal belongings everywhere, left garbage all over the place, and moved out without leaving any money.

AND they used his Mac to make a goodbye video of themselves smoking cigarettes, preening for the camera, singing and dancing, and explaining to him why they felt like this was the best choice for them to make.

From the lyrics of the song they sing with an cartoonish degree of smugness:

"this was a triumph,
it's hard to overstate my satisfaction
we do what we must because we can
for the good of all of us"

I love that song (it's a Jonathan Coulton song from the video game Orange Box: Portal) and when I saw that video I was mega pissed to see it bastardized.

Yeah, I'm not even sure I'm going to watch the video, but I was just popping in here to say that I recognized the lyrics to the Portal "ending Credits" song.
