Lost Kitten Update - Sadie Is Home!

Keith just called to say Sadie took advantage of the open door not to explore the Greater Chicago area, but to dash into a neighbor's apartment. They discovered her hiding in their closet.

Thank goodness.

Welcome home, Sadie. Now keep your stripey little butt inside! Your papa loves you.

glad to hear that Sadie was found so easily. So, why did the neighbors lock the cat in the closet?

It's a mystery, Chance. No one knows how it happened.

She may have been out all night and then snuck back into the building while Keith was putting up signs.

She's a sneaky little puss, that's for sure.

Yay!!!!

And where did you find that kitty pic? I almost passed out from cuteness overload.

I googled "smiling kitten."

And then I gleefully committed copyright infringement.

I couldn't help it...she was stripey like Sadie!

Yay Sadie!

And, I actually found myself smiling back at that little kitty. Good God.

Okay, I couldn't resist googling "smiling puppy." Check this out. I can't decide whether it's adorable or creepy.

Mo, I'd say adorable but a little worrisome, since that doesn't look like a position he could get into on his own.

it's always creepy when an animal other than a panda is suspended from bamboo

p.s. anyone else see the humor of the cat in a closet? anyone? anyone?

Thanks Elizabeth for your help and support! And for everyone else that helped with the great kittie caper.

P.S. Sadie is doing well. She doesn't seem to even remember what happened. I think she's repressing this memory.
