Beth Stelling, and Danielle and Tiffany Puterbaugh took over producing Entertaining Julia, a weekly variety show, when original producer Jena Friedman moved to New York. They invited me to take pictures last night so I grabbed Nellie and Teresa and we headed to the Town Hall Pub at 8:00. Blewt folks were performing, and it was an incredibly fun night. All pix here.
Tiffany and Danielle: "Yes, this is our own Beth, Fay Canale, and Kat Herskovic on the cover of the Red Eye, and yes, Elizabeth McQuern and many other fine Chicago comedy gals are quoted within."
Danielle and Tiffany in character. At this point, Tiffany was being a smarmy comedy booker character named Dave Schnitzelpiss or something, and she kept giving Danielle horrible pointers on how to get booked at the "Who Farted Factory." Her character kept trying to get people to take his stand-up comedy classes, which guaranteed you spots in his shitty stand-up showcases. She was so good she actually gave me the creeps.

Danielle in yet another wig and costume. I think she looks like a little girl playing dress-up in this picture, which is appropriate, since that's where her comedy with her sister Tiffany began:

You watch! Tableside crowdwork is the new how-are-you-doing-tonight.
I thought your tableside crowd work was awesome. Me, I would have put my feet up and helped myself to people's food and drinks, too, but that's just me.
