Me at the Lincoln Lodge

Lincoln Lodge Highlights, November 29 & 30, 2007, featuring yours truly (filmed and edited by the Lincoln Lodge). Allison Leber tells one joke at the beginning, and then there's one from me.

EDIT: To clarify the conversation going on in the comments for this post, when I sent an e-mail with this link to family and friends, I also said: "So I had the honor of doing stand-up at the Lincoln Lodge last week. I've actually decided to stop performing for awhile, because the anxiety involved is insane, plus I'm getting busier as a producer, writer, and filmmaker -- with my show and with professional stuff. (I don't know how that happened, either, but I'm going with it.)..."

okay, two things. *climbs on soapbox*

1) Great editing job!
and
2) Seriously, Elizabeth. You really should reconsider your reconsideration of comedy. You're funny and natural and you make me laugh in a way that not a lot of people do.

Glad you liked it, guys. I actually didn't edit that one, that was the Lincoln Lodge's work there.

I am always reconsidering my reconsiderations of comedy. Probably, like, forever and ever.

Bella,
at least on my version of firefox, there's no clip in the post.

Could this be an Andy Kaufman sort of thing?

So F*ing proud of you Nose!! Totally must reconsider. Look where you have come from, NOTHING is impossible if that is a goal you have set for yourself. You know that more than anybody...
Whatever decision you make, you have oodles of support! Just so damn happy for you.

Oh, the world of reconsidering, and then reconsidering what you reconsidered. And then reconsidering if you should reconsider what you just reconsidered. Welcome to crazy land...

I'm not going to enter this whole reconsidering thing, because it's already way to confusing for me. I will say, however, having watched your snippet on that video, that you totally completely utterly suck! What are you thinking? Go get an office job, you hack!

Okay, I don't really mean that, I just wanted to be different! You were good, but not as good as the Goonies guy. There's just no substitute for a good pop culture reference!

Thank you, Sam, thank you Nellie Ann!

Timothy, I happily concede that Kumail wiped the stage with me. He's been doing this for years and is just funny every time he opens his mouth. Watch for him to become huge and famous in a year or so. He's really great.
