Earlier I went on a little Bellow binge. Today I followed an old link and realized that, weird thing of weird things, Saul Bellow wrote a book called "The Bellarosa Connection." Self-referential self-references are creepy.

''The Bellarosa Connection'' of this novel's title is a name misheard, since it really refers to an underground operation supposed to have been run by the American theatrical impresario Billy Rose with the object of helping European Jews escape from Italy during World War II.
