Mishmash of Entertaining Headlines

Beer magnate Pete Coors busted for drunk driving. What I want to know is, was he drunk on Coors? If not, they should fire his ass.

Kevin Smith posts MySpace hissyfit about Joel Siegel walking out of screening of Clerks 2. This harkens back to his rant about Reese Witherspoon, which made the rounds on the 'net years ago.

AOL definitely trains their customer service department to pressure, coerce, and mindf*ck you into not cancelling service, no matter how many times you politely say "I'd like to cancel my account." Here's a leaked copy of their training manual. "Remember to uphold the Keep It Real standards and be true Member Advocates." Does this sound like culty doublespeak to anyone else?

"We have always been at war with Oceania. I'm going to go ahead and change your membership status, allowing you to keep our valuable parental control features."
